Wood Floor Planet is a gem for the local community, and Eddy, the owner, goes above and beyond to support local contractors. I saw how he did everything possible to help out a contractor that needed help with a small piece that very hard to get since it was too small. I saw the full interaction while visiting the store and was amazed how quickly he was able to think out of the box and give the customer a good idea.

Eddy was a fantastic help. He was very patient and gave great recommendations! He gently steered me away from my safe zone and helped me choose flooring that I must say I really love! I 100% recommend this company. He helped end my flooring nightmares! He operated from a place of integrity and that meant a lot to me after dealing with snake contractors.
I highly recommend Wood Floor Planet (WFP). After looking for months at wood samples and too many stores to mention we finally decided to purchase our flooring from WFP. We were extremely happy with their selection, quality of flooring, pricing and their customer service is next to none. Eddy was so patient with us as we had numerous questions being new to purchasing flooring. He was incredibly gracious and very accommodating as he let us take large samples home and never pressured us to buy while we were taking our time to make a decision.
We were using contractors for some other projects in our condo but ended up contacting Eddy to bid out and install the flooring as we had more confidence in his knowledge on proper installation and vast experience. His team was extremely professional and took great care of our furniture already in our unit by gently moving it around and covering it as they installed the floors. We were so thrilled to see our new floors when they were done as they did a beautiful job! We absolutely love our new floors! And I can’t speak more highly of Eddy. He will go way out of his way to provide you with the utmost in customer service. With Eddy you truly feel special. I can’t recommend WFP enough.
Installation, sanding, and finish work went so well with this company. The 2 1/4 inch oak floors look great and when we needed additional things installed like sound proofing and waterproofing they were able to work with us to manage the changes to the scope. Eric and Rosie are wonderful to work with. Excellent communication and easy to get a hold of via email or text. Thank you for a great job, we are so pleased!
Words cannot express our gratitude to Eddy and the exceptional level of customer service he provided my wife and I. After calling literally every wood store in the country and being told the type of flooring we wanted was discontinued, we stumbled upon The store on Google, called Eddy, immediately accommodated us for next day’s showroom experience, purchase and same day delivery! The floors are real aunthetic, and just beautiful. Eddy, THANK YOU for coming to our rescue.
Great floors and great service. The salespeople in the showroom were really patient in helping me to select the right floor for my apartment. They brought out many samples for me to choose from and were able to tell me the pros and cons of different flooring manufacturers. Rosie was super helpful in arranging the delivery and also in coordinating things with my contractor. Overall I had a really positive experience and would recommend this store to anyone.
I went to Wood Floor planet after being told the white oak Mirage floors we selected would be special order and would take 2-3 weeks. We wanted to start our job immediately and that would have been a major setback. I explained the situation to Rosie and she gave me 2 options in less than 5 minutes that I liked better than the original and beat the price of the other store we had been referred to! We ordered the floors on a Friday and they were delivered by Tuesday! Great experience, thanks!

We had an altogether excellent experience with Wood Floor Planet in replacing our NYC coop floor. Very knowledgeable, friendly service, skilled installers and fair pricing. I recommend them highly.
